Moraitis - Leaders in Fresh Produce

As at 8 May 2006, the Moraitis Group shareholders divested 49% of the Group to Fresh Investment Pty Ltd, a company associated with Catalyst Investment Managers (“Catalyst”). Catalyst is one of the leading private equity firms in the Australasian market and manages funds in excess of $500m.

As Moraitis continues to expand in an industry that is reflecting large organic growth, it was felt that there was an opportunity to introduce a partner that could assist the business in achieving its strategic objectives.

Catalyst executives sit on the Board and assist with the strategic direction of the Moraitis Group. Day to day operations continue to be handled by Nick Moraitis and the Moraitis executive team.

Catalyst was established in 1989 and is fully owned by its senior executive team.
