Avocadoes
Avocadoes have rough, dark green skin with soft light green/yellow flesh. They originated from South America and have become a delicious addition to many dishes around the world. Although most people think they are a vegetable, avocados are actually a fruit. They mature on the tree but ripen after they have been picked. Avocadoes have a creamy texture and a nutty, buttery flavour.
