Banana

One of the most popular fruits in the world. Boasting a sweet taste and all-round qualities, you can’t beat the flavour of a delicious ripe banana. There are two types of bananas; Cavendish and Lady Finger. Cavendish are the most common variety. Lady Finger bananas are shorter and thicker in size with a whiter and sweeter flesh.

Ideal for: Eating on their own, in cakes, smoothies, muffins, pancakes as desserts or snacks. Great with cereals, muesli or yoghurt. They can be grilled, baked or put on the BBQ.
